Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN

Wilson Care and Rehab is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

• 12-hour shifts
• 3-day weekends every other weekend
• No more than 3 consecutive workdays
• 7 days off every 14 days
• Average 2 hours of overtime per week

• Salary: $30.00 – $34.10 per hour

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you play a vital role in our clinic. You provide total care for residents, monitoring their condition and needs. You follow physician orders to administer medications and treatments, ensure narcotic policies and procedures are followed, monitor for side effects, and report any changes in residents' condition. You oversee nursing assistant-registered staff to ensure care plans are followed.

You complete documentation, admissions, and discharges for residents, and monitor for bruises, skin tears, or neglect. You maintain confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and uphold facility policies and procedures.

• LPN licensure with the KS Board of Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Desire to work with the elderly

Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required.

Full-time position works 12-hour night shifts.
