Post Baccalaureate Registered Nurse Residency Program Director
Duties to include but not limited to the following:
- The PBRNR Program serves as a direct pipeline for providing well trained nurses who greatly contribute to the succession planning efforts of the VA workforce.
- The Post Baccalaureate Registered Nurse Residency Program Director executes position responsibilities that demonstrate beginning leadership skills and participates in achieving its mission, goals, and expected outcomes.
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the program based on established policies and guidelines consistent with the program mission, goals, and expected outcomes.
- Is responsible for the quality and quantity of program-specific training and establishes program initiatives and direction within limitations of available staff and budget.
- Develops, maintains, and administers a formal, data-driven, systematic plan for appraising the effectiveness of the program, and disseminates program outcomes.
- Selects, instructs, coaches, mentors, and supervises program participants.
