Kanza Cooperative Association is seeking a motivated Agronomy Intern to gain hands-on experience in agronomy operations, crop inputs, customer service, and cooperative business. This paid summer internship gives students practical exposure to the day-to-day work of an agricultural cooperative while helping them build industry knowledge, workplace skills, and confidence in an agronomy career path.

• Assist with daily agronomy operations and customer service activities.
• Support agronomy staff with field activities, crop input services, seasonal projects, and daily customer needs.
• Help load, unload, blend, and handle seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products.
• Participate in agronomy-related training and professional development opportunities.
• Learn safe product handling, inventory management, and operational procedures.
• Work alongside experienced agronomy professionals to gain practical industry experience.

• Currently pursuing a 2-year or 4-year degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, Ag Business, Soil Science, Plant Science, or a related field.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Previous agricultural, farm, or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
• Hands-on exposure to agronomy and cooperative operations.
