- Develop, implement, and monitor treatment programs in accordance with Core Civic and partner agency policies. Oversee program activities and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment programs.
- Plan, develop, and conduct seminars, workshops, and specialized training in specific areas of treatment and prevention for inmates, treatment staff and other facility staff.
- Supervise staff in duty performance and evaluate as prescribed by facility and company policy. Include recruiting, hiring, interviewing, training, evaluating performance, preparing performance appraisals, listening to concerns, resolving disputes, taking disciplinary action, developing schedules, monitoring work assignments, overtime use, and approving leave requests.
- Provide clinical supervision for the program and staff. Review clinical files, maintain confidentiality, ensure compliance with regulations, policies, procedures, contract requirements, and licensing standards. Coordinate admissions, treatment, evaluation, and release information with other staff and departments.
- Observe inmates during program activities, provide consultation in response to inmate needs or concerns, and assist in managing grievance resolutions.
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field.
- Must possess current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC).
- Must be authorized or endorsed to provide clinical supervision when required by regulation.
- Three (3) years of experience in substance‑use counseling, including one year of supervisory experience.
- One year of experience in a therapeutic community setting is preferred.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of substance‑use treatment methods, aftercare planning, clinical supervision, and applicable guidelines for the operation of a treatment program.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years of age or older.
