Hospice Volunteer

Enhabit Hospice is looking for volunteers to provide comfort care to patients during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non‑medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given choices as to how much and to what types of activities you want to do.

Volunteer activities may include:

• Running errands for the patient and their family
• Playing games or reading with patients
• Delivering flowers to patients celebrating special events or letting them know we care
• Walking or caring for family pets
• Participating in the Paws for Comfort pet therapy program
• Creating photo albums for patients and their families
• Assisting patients in writing letters to loved ones
• Helping patients journal

We are looking for a volunteer who will visit patients in the facility.
