Revenue Accountant II

Position Summary

The Revenue Accountant II is responsible for reconciling complex revenue streams through detailed analysis and 3-way matching of point-of-sale (POS), third-party data, and cash/receivables. This role supports multiple revenue channels and tender types, including cash, credit cards, gift cards, and delivery receivables. The position works closely with Accounting, Operations, Treasury, and external service providers, and requires strong attention to detail, process ownership, and effective communication skills.

• Perform daily, periodic, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of store deposits, credit cards, gift cards, delivery, and catering receivables to cash receipts.
• Execute and maintain 3-way matching processes across POS systems, third-party platforms, and financial records.
• Monitor, investigate, and resolve discrepancies, transaction errors, and reconciling items in a timely manner.
• Utilize reconciliation/matching software to manage daily workflows and ensure accuracy of revenue data.
• Analyze and post variances related to credit card, gift card, and delivery receivables.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and support evolving business needs.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and support additional accounting tasks as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in revenue accounting, reconciliations, or related functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting or ERP systems (e.g., Workday preferred).
