We’re looking for a detail-driven Bookkeeper / Accounting Assistant to join our growing property management team. This role is perfect for someone early in their accounting career who enjoys working with data, spotting inconsistencies, and helping ensure everything adds up correctly.
You’ll play a key role in reviewing financial activity, reconciling accounts, and identifying discrepancies across a portfolio of properties. If you like digging into numbers, following processes, and being the person who catches what others miss—this is for you.

* What You’ll Do* Financial Accuracy & Review
- Review accounts payable and receivable transactions for accuracy and proper coding
- Audit daily and monthly financial activity for inconsistencies or missing information
- Identify discrepancies and flag issues to Property Managers and Regional Managers
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations across assigned properties
- Investigate and help resolve reconciling items
- Maintain accurate cash tracking reports
- Review tenant ledgers to identify and flag discrepancies (delinquencies, prepayments, misapplied transactions)
- Ensure financial data is complete and consistent across systems
- Compile financial reports and supporting documentation for internal review
- Review reports for completeness and accuracy prior to submission
- Communicate clearly with internal teams to resolve issues
- Follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely correction
- Assist with vendor setup and administrative accounting tasks
- 1–3 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related experience (or relevant coursework)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working with numbers and financial systems
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Experience with property management or accounting software (e.g., Real Page) is a plus

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
