• Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Manage and reconcile payroll-related entries within the general ledger
• Prepare and file tax reports, including payroll taxes, income taxes, and other relevant filings
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations and updates
• Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to maintain accurate financial records related to payroll and taxes
• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation related to payroll and tax activities
• Stay current on changes in tax laws and payroll regulations to ensure ongoing compliance
• Support internal teams with payroll and tax-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience in payroll processing and tax compliance
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliation
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulations
• Proficiency in payroll and accounting software (e.g., ADP, SAP, Quick Books)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
