Job Summary

The Manager, Food & Beverage (F&B) Product Management (Merchandise & Gaming) leads theatre-level product management for merchandise and gaming programs. This role is responsible for merchandise allocation strategy, launch execution, inventory optimization, sell-through performance, and ongoing field support. The position partners across Product Strategy, Product Development, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, vendor partners, and theatre teams to maximize revenue, improve execution, and enhance the guest experience.

This role also supports arcade and gaming business growth through operational oversight, performance analysis, and new program implementation. This position is based in Leawood, KS. Relocation assistance may be offered.

What you will be doing:
  • Lead merchandise allocation strategies based on theatre profiles, sales history, inventory position, and anticipated demand to maximize sell-through, inventory productivity, and revenue performance.
  • Monitor merchandise performance and recommend allocation adjustments, inventory redistribution, and optimization opportunities based on sales trends, theatre feedback, and execution results.
  • Lead execution readiness for merchandise launches by coordinating with Operations, Food and Beverage, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, vendors, and theatre teams to ensure successful deployment.
  • Develop and distribute field-facing communications, launch materials, display guidance, and execution standards while identifying and resolving launch risks.
  • Manage arcade and gaming programs, including new site deployments, equipment enhancements, vendor coordination, theatre support, and expansion initiatives.
  • Evaluate gaming performance and identify opportunities to improve revenue, profitability, guest engagement, and operational effectiveness.
  • Analyze merchandise and gaming performance metrics, including sales, inventory productivity, sell-through, theatre execution, and financial results.
  • Translate data and business insights into actionable recommendations, reports, presentations, and business updates for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Provide operational support for online store initiatives, commercial programs, and other revenue-generating projects that enhance the guest experience.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support business objectives, resolve operational issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, execution standards, and program effectiveness across merchandise and gaming initiatives.
  • Support additional product management initiatives, strategic projects, and business growth opportunities as needed.
What we need from you:
  • 1+ years of menu management, product management, project management, category management, or related business experience within a high-volume retailer, entertainment company, national chain, or large organization.
  • Experience supporting food and beverage, product strategy, category management, retail merchandising, or comparable business functions.
  • Knowledge of retail merchandise operations, inventory allocation, product launch execution, and multi-location operational support.
  • Understanding of sales performance, inventory productivity, sell-through, gross margin, profitability, and item-level business performance.
  • Experience working with vendors, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop practical business recommendations.
  • Ability to manage allocation decisions and recommend actions based on sales trends, inventory levels, and operational feedback.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop field-facing materials, process documentation, and business presentations.
  • Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to identify business challenges, evaluate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to travel occasionally, up to 20%.
