First Christian Church of Burrton, Kansas, is seeking a dedicated, full-time Lead Pastor/Preacher to shepherd our congregation and engage with our vibrant rural community.

We are an independent, non-denominational church with an average weekly attendance of 70–90 worshippers. Our congregation values solid biblical teaching, warm fellowship, and active discipled growth across all generations, supported by multiple age-based Sunday School classes and an annual Vacation Bible School program.

Located in the heart of South-Central Kansas, Burrton is a welcoming small town of approximately 900–1,000 residents surrounded by rich agricultural land. Our community features a K-12 school system, multiple thriving local industries, and iconic regional landmarks like “The Barn” restaurant. Burrton offers the quiet charm and safety of small-town living while remaining just 15 to 25 miles from major commercial centers, including Hutchinson, Newton, McPherson, and Wichita.

• Preaching & Teaching: Deliver engaging, biblically grounded sermons during Sunday morning worship services.
• Pastoral Care: Provide compassionate support to the congregation through hospital visits, outreach to homebound individuals and shut‑ins, and personal counseling as needed.
• Community & Event Engagement: Represent the church by participating in local city and school events, as well as performing weddings, funerals, and special church functions.
• Ministry Leadership: Collaborate with church leadership and volunteers to support ongoing programs, including our annual Vacation Bible School.
