Start your career in the high-demand water service sector as a Water Plant Operator for the Marias Des Cygne Public Utility Authority, the water treatment plant that provides water service to the cities of Louisburg and Paola.

This position performs semi-skilled maintenance of the water plant that provides safe, quality water for the MDCPUA. Candidates should possess strong technical and mental aptitude and have effective communication, organizational and public relation skills. Candidates with a Class II Water Operator license are preferred or the candidate must obtain a Class II Water Operator certification within two years of employment.

Candidates must live within a 30-minute radius of the plant's location on the Marias Des Cygne River.
