Control Group Associate
The Associate will provide daily support to our internal business partners and/or external clients. This position will have a variety of duties and tasks to be completed depending on the specific team they are a member of. The Associate must be detail oriented and able to deliver a high level of service to internal and external clients.
The Control Team provides oversight and reporting on the adherence to policies and procedures for National Advisors Trust Company. The associates on this team will collaborate with multiple teams including Operations, IT, Trust Administration, Client Services, Compliance, etc. This position requires a high aptitude for detail while meeting deadlines throughout each day. The use of advanced excel skills will be beneficial as well as the ability to multi-task.
Daily responsibilities and duties may include reconciliation of accounts, creation and distribution of metric reporting, receiving/documenting/routing incoming and outgoing mail, performing quality control of issued checks, create and distribute specialized reporting, etc.
Responsibilities and duties include:
- Resolve, investigate, and analyze simple to complex account inquiries and escalations.
- Complete processing and quality control responsibilities within deadlines.
- Quality control with emphasis to detail.
- Maintain high quality metrics for assigned responsibilities.
- Assist teammates with various inquiries across client/role assignments.
- Flexibility in making daily adjustments to address business needs.
- Act as a liaison between National Advisors Trust and external parties.
- Provide outstanding client service to internal and external clients.
- Effective use of technology and self-service to resolve internal and external inquiries.
- Maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality both internal and external to the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Compliance with BSA/AML/OFAC-related laws and regulations as it applies within the scope of this position, including but not limited to, prompt completion of required BSA/AML/OFAC training.

Experience/qualifications include:
- Bank/Trust operations experience, preferred.
- Financial services background preferred.
- Industry knowledge of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and unique assets, preferred.
- Motivated self-starter capable of working in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
Work environment:
Professional, business setting.
Physical requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time.
- Will occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Occasionally it requires lifting objects that are 20 pounds to a height of 3-4 feet.
