We are seeking an experienced Wealth Advisor to provide comprehensive financial planning and tailored investment solutions within a personalized, concierge client experience. This role partners closely with high-net-worth individuals, families, executives, business owners, and retirees to develop and implement customized strategies that help clients achieve their long-term goals.
Our client is a boutique, employee-owned, fee-based Registered Investment Adviser serving clients in Kansas City, built on a philosophy of expertise and objectivity. As a fiduciary firm, the advisor's success is measured by client outcomes delivered through holistic financial planning, investment management, estate planning, tax strategies, and risk management, supported by a passionate team that treats the client relationship as the firm's most important asset.
DUTIES& RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals and families, delivering holistic financial planning, investment management, estate planning, and tax-efficient strategies tailored to each client's goals.
- Build and manage client relationships, providing direct, concierge-level access and a consistently exceptional client experience.
- Develop and implement customized financial plans, adjusting strategies as client needs and life goals evolve.
- Collaborate with the firm's team of planning, investment, tax, and estate specialists to deliver integrated, objective solutions.
- Cultivate new client relationships through referrals, centers of influence, and professional partnerships.
- Stay current on financial markets, planning strategies, and regulatory developments while upholding the firm's fiduciary standard.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- CFP, CFA, CPWA, or similar designation preferred, or a willingness to pursue.
- 5+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or investment management.
- Proven ability to develop and retain high-net-worth client relationships.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-management skills, with a client-first, fiduciary mindset.
- FINRA Series 65, or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
- Collaborative team orientation balanced with self-motivation and an entrepreneurial approach to growth.
- Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
