Position Summary
The Commercial Loan Servicing Team Lead is an expert resource for team members and leads the specialty lending programs. The Lead provides loan servicing and system operations support for various commercial loan products.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesServe as a Subject Matter Expert and resource for team members, Bankers and Loan Coordinators; demonstrate advanced knowledge of products, regulatory requirements and solutions. Lead specialty lending programs and SBA 1502 reporting and maintenance, Swaps, Participations, and Syndications. Book assigned loans on to the core system in accordance with executed loan documents. Document, monitor, and resolve post-closing tasks/covenants defined in the loan documentation and communicate any additional actions necessary to servicing & support team.
Process system maintenance. Monitor reports for syndications, SWAP loans, unused fees and letters of credit and ensure any exceptions are addressed in a timely manner. Test SOPs for updates and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
Knowledge of:
Strong oral and written communication skills Commercial loan operations and report writing Commercial loan Bank regulations and compliance issues
Ability to:
Demonstrate organizational and time management skills Prioritize projects; multi-task and meet deadlines Prepare comprehensive reports Identify, problem solve and exercise exceptional use of good judgement with respect to issues/circumstances as they arise Work independently Research information and analyze data
Education and Training:
Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in Commercial loan operations specializing in loan servicing Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance. (Base Pay Range: $28.50 - $38.00/hr)
