Part time – Shift: day (United States of America)

9301 W 74th St, Shawnee Mission, Kansas 66204

• Schedules patients for surgery and completes facility paperwork.
• Obtains necessary scheduling, demographic, insurance, and clinical information to schedule, cancel, or reschedule events with minimal call transfers or callbacks.
• Schedules surgeries with physicians and physician office staff using the method designated by the facility.
• Calls designated departments with information for add‑on cases if patients are not yet admitted to the hospital and prepares and sends reservations for each case scheduled within established time frames.
• Responds to multiple inquiries from telephone, intercom, and direct communication regarding scheduling of surgery and the main operating room suite.

• High School Graduate or equivalent (required)
• Basic Life Support – CPR Certificate (BLS)
• RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement certification

$17.40 – $27.84
