About the RoleWe are seeking a hands-on Solutions Architect to join our team and help modernize our Nursing education platform. This role combines high-level solution design with hands-on implementation
, working closely with cross-functional teams to create scalable, secure, and innovative solutions. You will lead architectural decisions, drive modernization from monolithic systems to microservices, and introduce new technologies to enhance platform capabilities.

Schedule:
Minimum one day per week in-office (Wednesdays are designated team days)
- Provide technical leadership through architecture discussions, documentation, and design reviews
- Develop conceptual and logical architectures aligned with business and technology goals
- Lead modernization initiatives, transitioning from monolithic architecture to microservices
- Collaborate with engineering teams on hands‑on coding, reusable components, and integrations
- Advocate for Dev Ops and CI/CD practices, ensuring scalability and automation
- Ensure security, reliability, and performance across all solutions
- Introduce and integrate new technology stacks and AI-driven solutions
- Act as the ultimate technical owner for assigned platforms, including governance and lifecycle management
- C# and .NET Core
- Angular (front-end development)
- SQL Server (primary database)
- Kubernetes for container orchestration and scaling
- Experience with auto‑scaling solutions
- AI implementation experience (agentic AI tools like Claude, Windsor, Copilot)
- Java knowledge (plus)
- Familiarity with Git Hub Copilot and modern development tools
- Strong understanding of security practices and vulnerability management
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of cumulative IT experience (4+ years in software architecture/design)
- 3+ years implementing Microsoft .NET applications
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, enterprise integration, and cloud architecture
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences
- Hands‑on approach with ability to support large teams (~130 offshore/onshore staff)
