ORC is seeking a part-time on-call, non-exemptRight of Way Project Managerto work on projects based out of Kansas and Missouri. The selected candidate will be based out of their home office in Kansas and can expect to travel throughout Kansas and Missouri about 25% of the time based on project requirements.

What you will be doing:
As our Right of Way Project Manager, you'll be in the driver's seat of some of the most complex and exciting public projects around. You'll work alongside our amazing clients to make sure their projects are executed seamlessly, from start to finish. From ensuring the right scope of work is in place to overseeing the project budget and financial requirements, you'll have your hands in every part of the project lifecycle.
But that's not all! You'll also be building relationships with key vendors and agencies, pursuing new business development opportunities, and supporting our recruiting efforts. As the day-to-day manager of the project, you'll be responsible for keeping us on track, from timely project reporting to sending invoices to our clients. And if that weren't enough, you'll also be managing our team of direct reports, making sure everyone is performing at their best and ensuring the project stays on schedule.
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for implementing strategies for the Public Sector, set forth by the Executive Vice President (EVP), in compliance with overall company strategy to facilitate and foster client relationships. They coordinate with the EVP regarding opportunities in the Public Sector in the region.

- Is responsible and demonstrates organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Is a critical thinker, problem solver, and strong attention to detail.
- Supports and recommends department or company wide changes.

Here are the minimum requirements:
- Must have a minimum of five (10) years of Right of Way acquisition experience
- Must include two (5) years managing transportation and/or utility projects
- Experience utilizing the Uniform Relocation Act
- Understanding of project financials
- Prior experience with creating/maintaining project schedules
- Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, Dropbox, and Outlook
- Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems.
- Valid Driver’s License
