Role Description – The Blade Remanufacturing Site Leader will have day to day responsibility for the GE blade remanufacturing (WDI) and blade repairs occurring at the Takkion laydown yards in Pawnee and Garden City, KS. The site leader will give daily direction to the on‑site GE Blade Technicians, contracted repair teams and GEV Material Specialist based on blade remanufacturing priorities.
Responsibilities- Establish remanufacturing factory production schedules for blade remanufacturing priorities and manage teams to achieve plans.
- Lead site repair teams in adherence to Safety / GE Life Saving Rules.
- Manage Site Material Leader to achieve the right levels of material inventories at site in support of executing remanufacturing production plans.
- Give day to day direction to on‑site GE Blade Technicians.
- Interface with GE Services Engineering Team and GE Blade Technicians on open repair team questions to drive efficient problem solving and keep the repair teams on task / schedule.
- Interface with Takkion site leadership to establish weekly and day to day GE priorities including on‑site blade moves, incoming and outgoing blade shipments and maintenance of GE blade repair locations.
- Carry out GE laydown yard strategies regarding blade inventory, blade repairs and material movement.
- Confirm that Takkion team is filling out blade move inspection reports.
- Be the “one voice” of site work or stand‑by decisions related to weather conditions.
- Oversee repair teams daily / weekly status reporting and provide oversight and direction to repair team leaders and leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, manufacturing, project management, engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in sourcing, manufacturing, project management and/or supply chain.
- Good understanding of the Renewables Onshore business.
- Strong data management skills (Excel, Tableau, Smartsheet, etc.).
- Ability to lead and manage teams.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Able to work effectively across cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to work independently to achieve targets and objectives.
- Self‑motivated, driven to take action and define next steps.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
