Operations Engineer
Branded Custom Sportswear, Inc is a Licensee of NIKE. We manufacture and market decorated Collegiate Licensed clothing and accessories to the College Bookstore market, nationally. We are a division of Design Resources, Inc located in Overland Park, KS comprised of five entities which are all related to the Apparel Industry. This role will support scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow coordination for domestic production to ensure customer shipments are on time and within budget. They act as the link between departments, suppliers, and management to balance demand with capacity.
Responsibilities- Monitor and participate in the process for special programs to ensure successful execution of hot market and other event driven activities.
- Perform data analysis to support Production Planning activities such as scheduling, workflows and program execution.
- Work with inventory analysts on applicable forecasting and inventory planning.
- Monitor First Sale process by coordinating with multiple teams and domestic facilities to fulfill customer requirements.
- This position works closely with the other company departments providing a high level of communication regarding the development and status of customer programs.
- Support of production records and generate performance reports.
- Identify bottlenecks and propose efficiency improvements.
- 5+ years experience in decorated licensed apparel industry.
- Experience in production planning or manufacturing coordination.
- Experience working with an ERP (enterprise resource planning) system.
- Knowledge and experience on various computer applications including proficiency in MS Excel.
- Candidate must have technical development skills adaptable to multiple environments including but not limited to MS Power BI.
- Ability to work with competing schedules requiring good time management skills with attention to detail.
- An overall strong work ethic is required.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills are mandatory.
The position will report to the Senior Director of Production.
