Ascentist Hospital is a physician‑owned, multi‑specialty patient‑focused surgical hospital with 4 operating rooms. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Surgical Nurse Manager to oversee the OR, Pre‑Op/Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Pre‑Admission Testing (PAT) departments.

In this role, you’ll lead our exceptional surgical nursing team with energy, empathy, and excellence. You’ll play a key role in managing daily operations in PAT, pre‑op, OR, and recovery, and keeping our workflows smooth and our patients safe.

• Lead daily operations for the OR, Pre/Post, and PAT units with an emphasis on patient safety and efficiency
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation across surgical services
• Build strong working relationships with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and clinical teams
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards
• Mentor and develop nursing staff through coaching, education, and performance management

• Job Type: Full‑time
• Locations: Ascentist Hospital / Ascentist HOPD - Leawood, KS
• Salary Range: Negotiable (final compensation is negotiable and dependent on experience, education, certifications, and market alignment)
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k Plan, plus optional benefits
• Schedule: Monday‑Friday, approx. 40hrs a week
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of OR experience and minimum of 2 years in leadership
