Farm Equipment Operator position available on a 10,000-acre family farm in Northwest Kansas. The farm primarily grows dryland wheat, corn, and grain sorghum, with one central pivot. The operation uses the latest John Deere equipment and has a well-organized, heated shop to increase efficiency. The owners are looking for individuals who love farming and are self-motivated. The farm also runs 300 to 400 head of steers on grass from March to August.

The owners value their employees and have a history of low employee turnover. Salary is based on experience. Housing, utilities, and insurance are provided. Two weeks of paid time off per year.

• Operate the latest John Deere technologies, including GPS, yield monitoring, field mapping, sprayer, and fertilizer application.

• Must have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL and a private applicators license.
• Must be a self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
• Basic knowledge of cattle is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of GPS and guidance systems.
• Some light mechanic skills.
• Welding experience is a plus.

• Two years of experience operating and maintaining modern farm equipment, including semi-trucks, sprayers, planters, combines, and drills, is preferred. Will train the right person with less experience.

• High School Diploma or GED.
