Security Officer - Marina Patrol Driver in Leawood, KS. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. • Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unwanted activity and policy violations.
• Monitor and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns, and communicate observations to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, medical calls, and/or lost persons until additional resources arrive.
• Complete accurate documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and assist with access control and/or customer inquiries as assigned.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
