School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Lebanon, Connecticut

An onsite Registered Nurse is needed to cover a maternity leave assignment, working full time from 7:15am to 2:15pm, Monday through Friday. Your skills and expertise will ensure the health and well-being of students and staff in this dynamic setting.

• Current Connecticut RN license
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in school nursing or working with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to respond promptly and effectively to medical situations
• Collaborative approach to working with educators, students, and families

• Oversee daily health needs and manage acute or chronic conditions for students and staff
• Provide emergency care and administer medications as prescribed
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Educate students and staff on health practices, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student health plans
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment, addressing communicable disease concerns as needed
