Role
Clinical Nurse Educator responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and promoting professional nursing practice.
Key DutiesConducts comprehensive assessments, develops and evaluates individualized care plans, administers medications safely, ensures patient safety, documents care accurately, and communicates effectively with patients, families, and staff. Demonstrates autonomy, critical thinking, and flexibility in fast-paced environments, with a focus on age-appropriate care across the lifespan. Prepares surgical rooms, maintains aseptic techniques, manages specimen handling, and functions effectively in scrub roles.
QualificationsGraduate of an accredited nursing program, current RN license in the state, CPR certification, and prior surgical or labor & delivery experience, especially assisting with C-sections.
Skills and CompetenciesEffective verbal and written communication, basic computer skills, knowledge of growth and development, medication safety, aseptic techniques, and strong clinical judgment.
ReportingReports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
