About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Document Controller currently working for a construction consulting or EPC firm such as Fluor, Jacobs, Bechtel, K , AECOM, or similar. The successful candidate will join a high-profile capital construction project as a Construction Turnover Package Specialist, managing the planning, compilation, coordination, and delivery of construction turnover packages. All records, certifications, drawings, and quality documentation must be complete, accurate, and handed over according to contractual, client, and regulatory requirements.
Pharmaceutical experience is not required.
- Develop and maintain turnover package procedures for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with engineers, construction leads, quality teams, and contractors to collect, review, and distribute required documentation.
- Ensure timely delivery of turnover packages and maintain tracking systems for progress and approvals.
- Perform audits, resolve discrepancies, track punches, and provide status reports.
- Engage with vendors to resolve documentation issues and ensure a right-first-time approach.
- Manage document approval processes and follow up on reviews.
- Maintain accurate records for audits and project closeout.
- Degree or certificate in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Document Controller on construction projects with turnover packages.
- Current experience working for a construction consulting or EPC firm.
- Technical experience with construction and engineering documents.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead meetings with multiple stakeholders.
- Fully on site W2 contract role with potential for long-term engagement.
- Work on high-profile construction projects in heavy utility and life sciences sectors.
