Steel Erection Project Manager

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Structural Steel Project Manager to oversee the erection of steel at a data center site in Lebanon, IN!

This is a full-time, long-term, direct hire position, and the project is expected to last for 2 years. The project sits on 1500 acres, $10 billion over 10 different buildings.

• -Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through final completion
• -Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and cost control
• -Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify scope requirements and potential issues
• -Coordinate with owners, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and field supervision to ensure successful project execution
• -Prepare, negotiate, and manage subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and change orders
• -Communicate project expectations, goals, and updates with onsite superintendents and project teams
• -Monitor subcontractor performance, safety compliance, quality standards, and schedule milestones
• -Manage material, labor, and equipment procurement to support project timelines
• -Conduct project meetings, track progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• -Review invoices, approve payments, and assist with project financial reporting
• -Support punch list completion, final inspections, and project closeout activities

• -Annual salary between $165,000 - $202,000

• -Must have structural steel experience with a general contractor
• -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• -5+ years of construction project management experience
• -Experience managing PEMB, structural steel, industrial, or data center construction projects preferred
• -Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, contracts, and regulations
• -Experience with subcontractor management, budgeting, estimating, and change orders
• -Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• -Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Project, and construction management software (SAGE 300 experience a plus)
• -Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills
• -OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain)
• -Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company requirements
