This role focuses on safely directing traffic and supporting site operations on a large, active construction site. You will guide vehicles and equipment, assist concrete trucks as they move through the site, and help maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
Responsibilities- Direct and control traffic flow on the construction site to ensure the safety of workers, drivers, and pedestrians.
- Serve as a spotter for concrete trucks as they navigate throughout the site, providing clear and accurate guidance to operators.
- Assist with site cleanup by removing debris, construction dust, and materials from walls, ceilings, and baseboards.
- Support general site work, including moving and installing site signage and performing other assigned tasks.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned duties.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere strictly to site safety plans and procedures.
- Communicate clearly with equipment operators, drivers, and team members to coordinate safe movement around the site.
- Report any safety concerns, hazards, or incidents promptly to supervision.
- Experience working on construction sites or in a similar field environment.
- Ability to safely direct and control traffic in a busy construction setting.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools in a safe and controlled manner.
- Familiarity with concrete operations and working around concrete trucks.
- Basic understanding of carpentry tasks in a construction environment.
- Strong awareness of safety practices and ability to follow site safety plans.
- Ability to take direction from supervisors and follow instructions accurately.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with drivers, operators, and coworkers.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work long shifts in an outdoor environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
- Lull lift certification is an asset.
- Boom lift certification is an asset.
- Scissor lift certification is an asset.
- Previous experience working on large, complex construction sites is beneficial.
- Comfort working around heavy equipment and high-traffic areas.

Work EnvironmentThis position is based on a large, active construction site with significant vehicle and equipment traffic and many moving parts. You will typically work 10–12 hour days, 6 days per week, often outdoors in varying weather conditions. The environment involves regular exposure to construction noise, dust, and heavy machinery. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times, and you will follow established safety procedures and site rules while working in close coordination with other trades and equipment operators.
JobType & Location
This is a contract position based out of Lebanon, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
