Certified Equipment Operator (Skytrack / Telehandler)
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Certified Equipment Operator to support material handling and laydown yard operations on a large-scale construction project. This role is responsible for loading, unloading, transporting, and staging materials throughout the job site while operating equipment such as Skytracks, telehandlers (Lulls), skid steers, and aerial lifts. The ideal candidate has experience working in active construction environments and possesses current equipment certifications.
Responsibilities- Safely operate Skytracks, telehandlers (Lulls), skid steers, and other approved equipment to move materials throughout the job site.
- Load, unload, transport, and stage construction materials in designated laydown and storage areas.
- Support receiving operations by unloading incoming deliveries and verifying material placement.
- Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to crews across the project site as needed.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all site-specific safety policies, equipment operating procedures, and supervisor instructions.
- Maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and site conditions while operating machinery.
- Assist with general material handling, site logistics, and labor support tasks when equipment operation is not required.
- Ensure materials are stored safely and organized to support efficient project operations.
- Current certification to operate Skytracks, telehandlers (Lulls), boom lifts, and/or scissor lifts.
- Previous experience operating material handling equipment on commercial or industrial construction sites.
- Ability to safely load, unload, and transport construction materials.
- Knowledge of equipment safety procedures and construction site protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Ability to communicate effectively with site supervision, operators, and construction crews.
- Ability to work extended hours in a fast-paced construction environment.
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- Experience operating skid steers and other construction equipment.
- Experience in construction, material handling, warehouse operations, or general labor.
- Experience working on large commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based on a large, active construction site with ongoing vehicle traffic, material deliveries, and heavy equipment operation. Employees typically work 10-12 hour shifts, up to six days per week, depending on project demands. The position requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions and adhering to all PPE and safety requirements.
Physical Requirements- Ability to climb in and out of equipment safely and frequently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when assisting with materials and site support tasks.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to remain alert and focused while operating equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the workday.

This is a Contract position based out of Lebanon, IN.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
