How You'll Get to Contribute:

We are seeking an experienced Turnover Manager to support a large-scale industrial capital project. This role is responsible for leading all turnover, systems completion, mechanical completion, and project handover activities from project execution through final acceptance and operational readiness. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience implementing structured turnover programs, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring a seamless transition from construction through commissioning and operations.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop and implement turnover strategies, procedures, and documentation systems throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish turnover governance, processes, workflows, and organizational structures to support successful project delivery.
  • Lead the planning and execution of system and subsystem turnover activities.
  • Coordinate the preparation, review, and completion of turnover packages, completion records, certificates, and project dossiers.
  • Manage punch list generation, prioritization, tracking, and closeout activities to support key project milestones.
  • Plan and participate in system walkdowns with Construction, Engineering, QA/QC, Commissioning, and Operations teams.
  • Oversee mechanical completion, systems completion, commissioning readiness, and final handover activities.
  • Ensure all construction disciplines achieve turnover readiness, including:
    • Mechanical
    • Piping
    • Electrical
    • Instrumentation & Controls
    • Civil & Structural
    • Architectural
    • HVAC
    • Utilities
  • Identify and proactively mitigate turnover risks, schedule impacts, and documentation gaps.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for turnover and handover activities among project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Commissioning, Validation, and Operations teams.
  • Support the implementation and administration of turnover management and project documentation systems.
  • Monitor turnover performance against project schedules and provide regular updates to project leadership.
Who you are:
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Turnover, Systems Completion, Mechanical Completion, Commissioning, Project Handover, or related project delivery functions.
  • Demonstrated success developing and implementing turnover programs for large-scale capital projects.
  • Strong understanding of turnover processes, systems completion methodologies, mechanical completion, commissioning activities, and handover requirements.
  • Experience supporting complex industrial construction projects in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, semiconductor, manufacturing, mission-critical, or similarly regulated environments.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams throughout project execution.
  • Experience with system walkdowns, completion verification, and punch list management.
  • Familiarity with electronic turnover and project documentation platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience working within EPC, EPCM, or General Contractor project environments.
  • Experience supporting GMP-regulated manufacturing facilities.
  • Knowledge of commissioning, qualification, validation, and operational readiness processes.
  • Proven success delivering turnover programs on large, fast-paced capital projects.
