Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the CQ Verification SME.
- Establish and maintain a unified workflow and SOP for drawing control, including master P& management and check-in/check-out procedures.
- Coordinate with Design-Build (DB) construction partners to define and formalize processes for submitting, tracking, reviewing, and approving drawing updates.
- Collect and manage electronic and hard-copy master P&IDs from DB contractors to support verification, field activities, and execution.
- Return controlled, redlined P&IDs to DB partners to support discrepancy resolution, change control, and engineering updates.
- Manage drawing version control to ensure a single, controlled master set of P&IDs is maintained at all times.
- Ensure all engineering, construction, and commissioning teams are working from the latest approved and controlled drawings.
- Support development of a unified documentation workflow that integrates multiple design and construction systems.
- Perform field support activities related to change orders, redlines, verification efforts, and drawing updates.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, QA, and commissioning teams to resolve P& and maintain execution alignment.
- Provide limited support for layout drawings and wiring diagrams as needed, with primary focus on P&.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Design Engineer with strong P&n and control experience
. - Pharmaceutical industry experience is required.
- Strong understanding of drawing version control, master document management, and formal change management processes.
- Proven experience coordinating drawing updates between design, construction, and field execution teams.
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with engineering, QA, design-build contractors, and commissioning teams.
- High attention to detail with strong ownership of drawing governance and documentation accuracy.
- Experience developing SOPs, workflows, or formal drawing control processes.
- Background working with multiple design-build contractors on large capital pharmaceutical projects.
- Familiarity with verification workflows, redline management, and field change documentation.
- Experience supporting wiring diagrams or layout drawings (nice to have).
