Senior Automation Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer for a Contract with a client in Lebanon, IN. The ideal candidate will support and optimize pharmaceutical Building Management Systems by configuring, commissioning, and troubleshooting JCI Metasys-based HVAC and environmental controls.

Rate Range: $54/hour to $56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Automation Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Configure, support, and troubleshoot JCI Metasys Building Management Systems across pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
• Review and validate BMS control logic for HVAC, utilities, and environmental control systems in regulated environments.
• Support commissioning readiness, testing, and qualification activities for new and existing buildings.
• Provide onsite operational support, incident resolution, and performance optimization for BMS platforms.
• Collaborate with automation engineering, IT/OT, facilities, operations, and JCI teams to ensure system reliability.
• Ensure compliance with pharma regulatory standards while maintaining system documentation and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Automation, Controls Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) or automation engineering.
• Strong expertise with JCI Metasys, HVAC/building automation, and environmental control systems in regulated pharmaceutical environments.
• Proven experience supporting onsite commissioning, control logic review, troubleshooting, and collaboration across IT/OT, facilities, and operations teams.

Pay Details: $54.00 to $56.00 per hour
