The Project Controls Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 to support successful execution of construction projects. This role is primarily focused on scheduling (approximately 80%), with additional responsibilities in planning, budgeting support, and earned value management (EVM).

Key Responsibilities Scheduling & Planning
  • Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules in Primavera P6
  • Ensure schedules are logically sequenced, resource-loaded, and aligned with project execution plans
  • Perform schedule analysis, including critical path, float analysis, and risk identification
  • Work closely with project managers, field teams, and discipline leads to validate schedule assumptions and progress
  • Incorporate changes, delays, and impacts into updated schedules and forecasts
Project Controls Support
  • Assist with planning and forecasting activities across projects
  • Support budgeting processes and cost tracking efforts`
  • Contribute to earned value management (EVM) reporting and performance analysis
  • Participate in progress measurement and reporting processes
Resource & Work Packaging
  • Support manpower/resource loading within schedules (preferred)
  • Collaborate on advanced work packaging (AWP) initiatives where applicable
  • Align scheduling deliverables with construction sequencing and execution strategies
Qualifications Required
  • Proven experience using Primavera P6 for construction project scheduling
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project lifecycle
  • Ability to build and maintain complex, resource-loaded schedules
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and accountability
