Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

A leading industrial company is hiring a Project Engineer to support a major construction project at the Eli Lilly site in Lebanon, Indiana. This temporary role offers an immediate start for a 3-6 month contract position based on a 13-day on/1-day off schedule, with a per diem of $150/day. The position requires working on-site at the Eli Lilly project site.

• Develop, manage, and update installation work packages, test packages, and turnover packages.
• Conduct field walkdowns to verify installation progress and resolve construction issues.
• Create and support red-line as-built drawings based on field notes and engineering documentation.
• Track project performance using earned value methods and maintain accurate project reports.
• Collaborate effectively with field teams, management, engineering, and customer representatives to ensure project success.

• At least 2 years of experience in heavy industrial construction as a Project Engineer.
• Proven ability to develop and oversee installation, test, and turnover packages.
• Familiarity with field walkdowns, red-line drawings, and earned value tracking systems.
• Knowledge of above-ground piping systems, P&IDs, isometric drawings, and project scheduling tools like Primavera P6.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
