Your role as a Maintenance Manager

New Cold is growing rapidly and is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to support operations at our warehouse in Lebanon, IN. This role is responsible for actively leading and working alongside the on-site maintenance and sanitation teams to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable warehouse operations.

The Maintenance Manager will perform and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs on all facility and material-handling equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and uninterrupted operations. This role will utilize Fiix CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to schedule, track, and document maintenance activities.

In addition to managing daily maintenance priorities, the Maintenance Manager will provide direct technical support, troubleshoot equipment issues, train team members, and lead by example on the warehouse floor.

This position requires a strong commitment to safety, accountability, and continuous improvement while maintaining a professional work environment aligned with company values.

• Ensure all equipment is used and maintained in line with supplier’s guidelines. This will include conveyors, cranes, cooling systems, fire protection, freeze doors, oxygen reduction and other installations.
• Create and plan Preventative Maintenance tasks or repairs to be carried out in a timely and safe manner, minimizing disruption to the operation.
• Working within budgeted guidelines and achieving agreed KPIs.
• Follow maintenance plan in the most efficient way to ensure minimal impact on the operation, but in a routine which achieves supplier guidelines as a minimum.
• Direct and lead sanitation team to maintain site cleanliness and appearance.
• Ensure that all work is completed in a safe and timely manner.
• Work closely with equipment suppliers and /or contractors to ensure proper training of maintenance technicians.
• Complete agreed internal reporting and communication as required by Site manager.
• Develop an understanding of all equipment and contracts on site including cooling systems, oxygen reduction, dock doors etc.
