Your role as a Automation Technician

• Key responsibilities:
  • As the Automation Technician, you will be responsible for performing a broad range of maintenance and repair activities to ensure the warehouse can operate effectively and efficiently. Maintain a professional culture on site and a commitment to Health & Safety, in line with company values.
• Roles and Responsibilities
  • Ensuring all equipment is maintained according to supplier guidelines. This includes conveyors, cranes, refrigeration systems (evaporators and condensers), fire protection, freezer doors, pallet-handling equipment, dock doors and other mechanical systems.
    Performing planned preventative maintenance and repairs in a timely and safe manner, with minimal impact to normal operations.
  • Communicating with Planners and System Operators about equipment downtime.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance on equipment while minimally impacting normal operations.
  • Troubleshoot, repair and/or replace components in conveyors, cranes, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic equipment, and other mechanical systems.
