Job Summary
The Welder is responsible for fitting and welding steel & stainless‑steel parts using the MIG process.
Location: Lebanon, IN
Department: Shop
Exemption Status: Non‑exempt/Hourly
Responsibilities- Use MIG welding equipment to manufacture as required, meeting defined production schedule
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements
- Supply quality parts from fixtures and jigs
- Weld stainless and carbon steel
- Work as part of a team and discuss arising issues with supervisor
- Operate equipment such as drills, grinders, and sanders
- Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of various welding techniques, specifically MIG
- Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques
- Attention to detail
- High school diploma/GED – preferred
- 2+ years welding experience with steel
- 4 day – 10 hour – 1st Shift
