Assembler II

Essential Duties:

• Performs routine assembly tasks building fixtures and assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in 2 departments within manufacturing as determined by the production schedule.
• Builds product from assembly instruction, blueprints, engineering sketches and verbal instructions.
• Recognizes defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes or faulty workmanship and reports them to the department supervisor.
• Complies with acceptable quality standards using appropriate manufacturing practices and methods.
• Conducts mechanical and electrical operational tests and troubleshooting on finished products and subassemblies.
• Selects and uses appropriate hand and power tools and measurement equipment required for the task.
• Processes appropriate paperwork, such as work order sheets, time sheets and test data sheets, in a timely manner.
• Adheres to the company’s safety standards and follows ISO policies and procedures.
• Keeps work area clean and organized.
• Additional tasks assigned as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school graduate (or GED) and 5+ years related experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and measurement test equipment.
• Ability to take instruction on product assembly and then work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Overview:

Base Pay: 22.00 per HOUR
