- Performing burning, grinding, shearing, sawing, turning and press brake operations to produce a quality product.
- Operates CNC machines to include turning and milling processes.
- Perform inspection on product utilizing Total Quality concepts.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
- Accurately report daily activities on work orders and other media as required.
- Conduct required quality control checks using various measurement equipment.
- Exercise safe work habits.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Mechanical aptitude with a demonstrated ability to work in a production environment preferred.
- Ability to follow operation procedures and assess problems and recommend solutions to resolve problems.
- Ability to perform quality checks using calibrated digital micrometers, various calipers and go/no go gauges to ensure product is within tolerance.
- Must be able to meet production standards and follow instructions.
- Must be able to attend work on a regular basis.
- High School diploma or GED from an accredited school required.
- Pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment.
