Packaging Operator

Spherion is hiring a Packaging Operator in Lebanon IN. 1st Mon-Fri 6:30am-3PM $17, 2nd M-F 2:30p-11p $18.

In the packaging department you will be trained on 3 different packaging machines. You will take the product off of the machines and pack into boxes as well as make sure the machines have what they need to run. This is a food manufacturing facility that makes condiments and salad dressings. Due to this facility handling and processing food products, GMP guidelines must be followed at all times.

This means that candidates must wear steel toed shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, hairnets, and smocks while on the facility floor. Candidates are NOT able to wear nail polish, fake nails, fake eyelashes, or eyelash extensions.

• Operate equipment on packaging lines
• Maintain quality and production standards while operating equipment
• Possess overall knowledge and understanding of the entire production line.
• Stack and un-stack cases; pack boxes.
• Inspect bottles and cases.
• Communicate and understand numerous product changes, boxes, labels, etc.
• Material Handling
• Trained to be a Machine Operator

Working hours:

2:00 AM - 11:00 PM

• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Machine Operator
• Packaging experience

No Degree Required

0-1 years

• Stand throughout entire shift
• Be able to lift up to 50lb
• MUST be able to speak and read English fluently
• Good Attitude + team player
