Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs mechanical and electrical components of production equipment and systems, including linear baggers and other processing equipment. This role focuses on troubleshooting and servicing high and low voltage electrical systems, mechanical assemblies, and PLC-controlled equipment while ensuring all work meets Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and supports safe, reliable, and efficient production operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical components of production equipment and systems, including linear baggers and other processing machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues such as gear boxes, servo motors, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including both high and low voltage equipment, to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment and related control systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on production and processing equipment to improve reliability and extend equipment life.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks across all processing equipment as needed.
• Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness in accordance with GMP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support safe work practices, including proper handling of electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Work Environment

This role operates on 2nd shift (2:00 p.m. 10:30 p.m.) or 3rd shift (10:00 p.m. 6:30 a.m.) within a climate-controlled, very clean facility that follows GMP standards. The environment emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to regulatory guidelines, supporting safe and efficient maintenance work on modern production and processing equipment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lebanon, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85280.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
