The Cardiac Cath Lab Procedure Nurse is responsible for providing direct professional nursing care for assigned patients by the use and implementation of the Nursing Process. The procedure nurse is also responsible for preparing the patient and significant other for obtaining and maintaining an optimal level of health, in preparation for their discharge. The Procedure Nurse is a contributing member to the multi-disciplinary Health Care Team and must be able to communicate the needs of the patient/significant others to all disciplines involved in the patient's hospitalization.

Cath Lab Experience Preferred.
Minimum Education/License/Certification Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
• Must hold a valid license to practice Nursing in the State of Indiana.
• CPR required.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days.
• Must have two (1-2) years acute care clinical experience.
• Certified in Conscious Sedation and IV Therapy;
  Prior procedural, surgical, or pain management experience preferred.
