The medical-surgical floor at Witham Hospital is a 26-bed unit with telemetry dedicated to providing exceptional care for#a wide range of medical and surgical patients, including specialized treatment for aging populations with chronic health conditions,# post-operative adult and pediatric patients. Our unit treats post-operative surgery patients as well as a wide scope of inpatient diagnoses including cardiac, respiratory, GI, urology, diabetes, cerebrovascular accidents, wound, and occasionally hospice care.

Our#team primarily consists of skilled Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and 1-2 Patient Care Technicians per shift, ensuring comprehensive support. Minimum Education /License/Certification Requirements Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. BSN preferred. Must hold a valid license to practice Nursing in the State of Indiana and be CPR certified. Additional certifications are dependent on assigned care. RN is responsible for continuous self-professional development by attending seminars and maintaining CEU#s. The RN agrees to notify their supervisor should they need additional training pertaining to any area of their assigned duties.
