Med/Surg Tele | Registered Nurse | 13-Week Travel RN Contract – Lebanon, IN Travel Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry Assignment in Lebanon, Indiana
Join a Med/Surg Tele travel nursing opportunity in Lebanon, IN 46052, just outside the greater Indianapolis area. This short-term acute care assignment is ideal for a Registered Nurse with telemetry experience who wants to strengthen med/surg nursing skills while caring for adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics in a supportive hospital setting.

- Shift Duration: 12 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 - $1,650
- Charting System: Meditech
- Patient Ratio: 1:5 to 1:6
- Floating/On-Call: May be required based on unit or hospital needs
- Orientation: 12 hours
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and eligibility to work in Indiana, if applicable
- At least 1 year of Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience
- Telemetry experience required for this travel nurse role
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS required before start
- Comfort caring for pediatric patients required
- Ability to care for multiple patient populations, including adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
- Strong assessment, communication, and prioritization skills
- Experience with Meditech charting preferred
- Must be able to obtain any required state licensure prior to start, if needed
- Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg and telemetry patients in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Perform core RN duties, including vital signs, phlebotomy, IV care, and patient assessments
- Administer medications and therapies safely and accurately
- Care for patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, sepsis, chest pain, pneumonia, stroke, GI bleed, and post-op recovery needs
- Support pediatric observation patients, including children admitted for respiratory concerns or post-op monitoring
- Collaborate with techs, interdisciplinary teams, and charge nurses to ensure efficient patient flow
- Float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility as needed
- Maintain professional documentation and uphold best practices in a busy healthcare setting
