Description- Department:Cardiology - Lebanon
- Schedule:Days, Monday – Friday.
- Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient
- Hospital:Witham Health Services
- Location:Lebanon, Indiana
- Certified:Must be licensed in the state of Indiana
- Status:Full time
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program with an advanced degree (master's or doctorate) degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Must hold an unrestricted license to practice Nursing in the State of Indiana.
- Must have two (2) years acute care clinical experience.
- Must be nationally certified in Advance Practice Specialty with recent clinically related experience in specialty.
- Be able to obtain prescriptive privileges required and the ability to maintain current privileges (to be allowed prescriptive authority) and exercise a well written collaborative practice agreement with a designated physician.
Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice to include:
- Clinical expertise.
- Integration of care across the care continuum
- Establishment of processes for surveillance of care
- Accountability for patient outcomes across settings
- Evidence-based clinical practice
- Advocacy for patients and Witham Health Services
- Support the changes with the role as patient/systems needs demand
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to maintain favorable public relations
- Ability to relate effectively with patients, visitors, medical and hospital staff.
- Ability to serve as a contributing member of a team.
- Ability to provide high quality direct patient care to complicated patients
- Ability to interpret and relate medical information
