American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN with required tele and PALS certification for a night shift assignment at a short-term acute care hospital.

• Med/Surg unit with pediatric admissions requiring comfort with peds population
• Night shift schedule (3x12, 18:00-06:30)
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Minimum of 3 weekends required within a 6-week period
• Possibility of floating based on unit and hospital needs
• Possibility of being placed on-call
• If a call-in occurs, an additional shift must be picked up to make up for it
• Charting system used is Meditech

• Active IN state or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• PALS certification required prior to start due to facility policy on pediatric admissions in Med/Surg
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Ambulatory and Med/Surg experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred

• Scrubs of any color accepted, professional appearance required
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted
• Candidates requesting holiday RTO must be willing to work one of the three major holidays
• Former employees must be separated from the facility for three years before returning as a traveler
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Candidates considered local if residing within 50 miles of the facility
