Batch Operator - 1st Shift - IND

Job Overview

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, we are looking for a 1st Shift Batch Operator to join our state‑of‑the‑art food production plant in Lebanon, Indiana. This on‑site role is responsible for preparing, mixing, cooking, and processing ingredients according to established formulas and recipes. The role ensures product quality, safety, and consistency while maintaining accurate production records and supporting a clean, efficient manufacturing environment.

• Operate, set up, and monitor mixing and cooking equipment to ensure each batch meets recipe and quality specifications.
• Assist in deviation investigations, including equipment inspections, swabbing, sample pulls, documentation, and collaboration with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse teams for root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate across teams to maintain product quality and program compliance, support equipment or process deviations, locate warehouse samples, and verify standards.

• Experience in a regulated food manufacturing environment with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Dax 365; proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality data systems; analytical thinking and accuracy.
• Ability to work across departments, build relationships, communicate clearly, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset, strong organization, proactive ownership, and readiness for a senior technical role.

• First Shift Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with no mandatory overtime.
