We’re recruiting a Quality Piping Consultant to support a major pharmaceutical construction project in Lebanon, Indiana.
Location:
Fully onsite
Contract:
Initial 12 months, with potential extensions
Project:
Large-scale, GMP-regulated construction
This field-based position will provide quality oversight across piping fabrication, welding, installation, testing and system turnover.
Key responsibilities:- Inspect piping fabrication, welding and installation.
- Perform and review weld and NDT inspections.
- Ensure compliance with ASME B31.3, project specifications and approved procedures.
- Oversee flushing, passivation and pressure testing.
- Manage NCRs, corrective actions and quality issues through to closure.
- Review ITPs, quality records and turnover packages.
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, commissioning and contractor teams.
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and NDT certification.
- 10+ years of construction quality experience involving piping and mechanical systems.
- 5+ years supporting cleanroom or controlled-environment construction.
- Experience with in pharmaceutical or other GMP-regulated facilities.
- Strong knowledge of ASME/ANSI codes, WPS/PQRs and piping inspection.
- Experience supporting major commercial or industrial construction projects.
Experience with hygienic or high-purity piping, commissioning, qualification and critical-system turnover would be highly beneficial.
