Cooks at 1830 Chophouse are responsible for preparation of food items on their assigned station during their shift. Teamwork is essential to ensuring the food is ready in a timely manner. Cleanliness and attention to detail in food preparation are the main focus.
Responsibilities- Prep any stock needed items on your station
- Prepare all ordered menu items based on the recipes provided
- Help any team member who requires additional assistance
- Clean up your station and any equipment used
- Restock items for the next shift
- 1-3 Years of previous cooking experience
- Basic kitchen skills including using a knife, proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures, and teamwork
- Ability to read and understand a recipe
- Ability to weigh and measure ingredients
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Free Meals during each shift worked
- Extensive and ongoing training for motivated employees
