DescriptionThe Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing installation, repair and maintenance of production and plant equipment. This position routinely performs preventative maintenance and repairs to machinery to ensure proper operation to maximize utilization.
Primary Responsibilities- Promote a safe and clean work environment in compliance with company policies and safety guidelines
- Maintain a professional work environment by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with co-workers and management
- Perform all preventative maintenance duties and repairs to production equipment
- Continuously monitor all company equipment for proper operation
- Regular safe use of industrial hand tools and shop equipment
- Complete all required paperwork
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- 3 Years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment (with experience in both Mechanical and Electrical)
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Technical education or training preferred
- Experience in installation and maintenance of process pipe work for Steam, Water and Compressed air
- Working knowledge and experience of industrial power for 3 phase AC circuits, DC circuits, and current protection
- Installation of conduit and wiring
- Troubleshooting/Repair and Maintenance of motors & motor controls including VFDs
- Repairs and maintenance of control systems including automated controls using switches, sensors, PLC cards and relays
- Computer skills; record all maintenance work in computer based maintenance program
