About the Role

As a CBRE HVAC Technician, you'll join a dedicated team supporting a leading pharmaceutical client, playing a crucial role in an industry that impacts global health. Your EPA Universal certification will be essential as you perform preventative maintenance, calibration, setup, service, and repairs on critical infrastructure, including air handling units, VAV systems, automated control systems, and refrigeration equipment. Your meticulous work will uphold the rigorous standards required for pharmaceutical production, guaranteeing a safe, compliant, and highly controlled environment where product integrity is paramount. • Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems used for building heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment, including calibration of related instruments, gauges, and control components.
• Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
• Demonstrated knowledge and hands on experience with VAV/CAV supply and exhaust systems.
• Work independently and safely around high and low pressure steam, chilled water, glycol, pneumatic systems, and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications.
• Strong technical proficiency in pipe fitting, brazing, soldering, and pipe threading.
• Read and interpret blueprints, with solid knowledge of state and local mechanical codes.
• Work in a multi craft environment, supporting and collaborating with other trades as needed.
• Perform all HVAC duties in a safe and compliant manner, following all local regulations and corporate safety procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date safety training, including required OSHA coursework and all assigned classroom or computer-based modules.

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and the ability to carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
